2026 International Mathematical Equation Olympiad is a global Math Olympiad for youth of all school ages.Breaking the rigid mold of traditional equation-solving, the competition uses "equations" as a core vehicle. Through graphical logic, reverse reasoning, number puzzles, variable analysis, and geometric space, it guides students to seamlessly transition "from mathematical relationships to equations"—comprehensively enhancing their skills in algebra, geometry, logic, and number theory.
Structured into Primary & Secondary School Divisions, the competition perfectly aligns with each age group's learning gradient. Moving from foundational enlightenment to high-level applications, the problems spark both mindset expansion and logical deconstruction skills.

Competition Terms
比賽條款
比賽形式 Competition Format
國際線上競賽。賽事語言英文及中文。賽事以選擇題方式進行，參賽者填寫正確選項。可使用手機或電腦參賽。競賽前請仔細閱讀考試承諾書，參賽者需公平誠實競賽。考試必須由參賽者本人獨立完成，嚴禁任何形式的作弊行為。
International Online Competition (Exam Language in English and Chinese). It consists of multiple-choice questions and participants are required to select the correct options. Participants may take competition on mobile phone or computer. All participants must compete fairly and with integrity. Exam must be completed independently by the participant in person, and any form of cheating is strictly prohibited.

小學挑戰組1-3年級 Primary Grades 1-3

** 題目以難度分組，參賽者自行選擇參賽組別。
The questions are grouped by difficulty, and participants may self-select their competition group.
規則 Requirements
1.競賽時間30分鐘，到時自動交卷，每人限作答一次。題目涵蓋學生應掌握的基本知識以及具有挑戰性的進階題目。建議參賽者合理安排時間，優先完成熟悉的題目，未解答的題目可在比賽時間結束前返回作答。參賽者可使用計算器輔助計算。
The competition duration ranges from 30 minutes, after which answers will be automatically submitted. Each participant is allowed only one attempt. Questions cover foundational knowledge students should master as well as challenging advanced topics. Participants are advised to manage their time wisely, prioritizing familiar questions first. Unanswered questions may be revisited before the time limit expires. Calculators are permitted for calculations.
2.比賽結果僅公佈選手名次，不另行公開具體答案、分數。賽果會透過電郵發送至登記郵箱並在官網及社交媒體公佈。
The competition results will only disclose the rankings of participants; specific scores and answers will not be released. Final results will be sent to the registered email and announced on the official website and social media platforms.

Schools or institutions with more than 10 participating students are eligible for the quota, which will be determined based on the overall level of the participants (based on the data submitted by group participants).
