2026 Australian AEAS International English Writing Challenge
Rooted in the highest standards of AEAS writing assessment, this competition explores globally relevant topics, showcasing your ability to shape language, express cultural awareness, and articulate compelling viewpoints.
Through creative storytelling, advanced argumentative essays, and current‑affairs persuasive speeches, participants will benchmark their academic potential against international standards, align with global academic thinking, and demonstrate the writing excellence of school‑level elite students.

參賽者需從以下三個指定題目中,自選一個題目進行寫作。
Participants must choose one of the three designated topics below to write about.
(1) What challenges do today's teenagers face? How can these challenges be overcome?
如今的青少年都面臨著哪些挑戰?如何應對?
(2) Imagine you found a secret door in your backyard. Write a story about what happened when you opened it.
想像你在後院發現了一扇秘密之門。寫一個關於你打開門後發生了什麼的故事。
(3) Imagine you are writing a speech to convince the Australian Prime Minister about - why young people should / or should not be allowed to use social media. Write your speech.
想像你正在寫一篇演講稿,試圖說服澳洲總理:為什麼應該 / 或不應該允許年輕人使用社交媒體。寫出你的演講內容。

作品要求 Requirements
1.寫作語言:英文。
Language of writing: English.
2.參賽者需從三個指定題目中,自選一個題目進行寫作。Participants must choose one of the three designated topics to write about.
3.文體體裁不限。如記敍文、散文、議論文、說明文、描寫文、抒情文等等。
Genre: No restrictions (e.g., narrative, prose, argumentative, expository, descriptive, lyrical, etc.)
4.字數:2,000字以內(不含標點符號)。
Word count: Within 2,000 words (excluding punctuation marks).
5.參賽作品格式:文件 PDF/DOC。
Submission format: PDF or DOC file.
6.參賽者有責任確保所提交的檔案有效;參賽作品須為個人原創作品,翻譯作品概不接受,嚴禁抄襲及使用人工智能工具生成。每位參賽者每個項目只可遞交一份參賽作品。如多於一份參賽作品,以最早收到的一份為準,其餘作廢,並不作另行通知。
Participants are responsible for ensuring the submitted files are valid; all entries must be original individual works. Translated works are not accepted, Plagiarism and the use of AI tools for generation are strictly prohibited. Each participant may submit only one entry per category. If more than one entry is submitted, the earliest received will be considered valid, and the others will be disqualified without further notice.
7.參賽作品不能含有淫褻、暴力、色情、誹謗、不良意識、侮辱或任何具爭議性及不恰當之內容。主辦機構有權拒絕不恰當、與比賽主題無關或格式錯誤的參賽作品。主辦單位保留對比賽總規和章程的最終解釋權。若有任何有關本活動的爭議發生主辦單位的裁定為最終的裁決,任何人士均不得異議。參賽作品不能含有宣傳商業或政治元素。
Works must not contain pornographic, violent, erotic, defamatory, inappropriate, insulting, or controversial content. The organizer may reject works that are inappropriate, irrelevant, or incorrectly formatted. The organizer reserves the right to final interpretation of rules. All disputes are subject to the organizer’s final decision. Works must not include commercial or political promotion.
評分準則 Judging Criteria
作品將依據內容質量、觀點立意、結構邏輯、語言表達、修辭運用、主題切合度等評審維度進行綜合評分。評審團成員包括本協會顧問、各辦學團體代表,以及業界資深人士。評審對一切事宜保有最終決定權,其評分為最終決定,參賽者必須尊重及接受。
Entries will be comprehensively evaluated and scored based on the criteria of content quality, viewpoint and conception, structural coherence and logic, linguistic expression, rhetorical application, and thematic relevance. Judges will comprehensively evaluate entries based on the above criteria. The judging panel includes advisors from our association, representatives from various educational institutions, and industry veterans. The judges reserve full authority over all matters, and their decisions are final. All participants must respect and accept the evaluation results.

針對參賽學生超過10名以上之學校或機構,按照參賽者整體水平設立 (根據團體參賽者填報的信息進行統計)。
Schools or institutions with more than 10 participating students are eligible for the quota, which will be determined based on the overall level of the participants (based on the data submitted by group participants).
